Between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge

Description

Engineering work is taking place from approximately 17:00 on Saturday and all day Sunday between Manchester Victoria and Ashton-under-Lyne, closing all lines.

Northern:

Trains between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge will not run.

TransPennine Express:

There will be no TransPennine Express services between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge.

Services between Manchester Airport and Saltburn will divert via Guide Bridge and will start / terminate at Manchester Piccadilly, not calling at Manchester Airport, Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria.

Services between Manchester Piccadilly and Hull will start / terminate at Leeds instead of Manchester Piccadilly.

Local stopping services between Manchester Piccadilly and York, and between Huddersfield and Leeds will be running to an amended timetable.

Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle will not call at Stalybridge or Huddersfield, and will call additionally at Brighouse.

Buses will not be provided – alternative journeys are available using local bus and tram services, or by train between Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge.
