Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Parkway and Yate, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

From 20:05 on Saturday until the end of Sunday:

Trains between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway will be diverted, extending journey times by up to 60 minutes.

Before 20:00 on Sunday:

No trains will call at Bristol Parkway.

Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester.

For travel between Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads / south western England, you should use local bus services, at your own expense.

Great Western Railway:

From 20:05 until the end of the day on Saturday:

Bristol - Gloucester:

Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester, calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Bristol Parkway, Yate and Cam & Dursley.

London - South Wales:

Trains will be diverted to run to / from Bristol Temple Meads.

Before 20:00 on Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester, calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Yate and Cam & Dursley. These replacement buses will not call at Bristol Parkway.

Valid Great Western Railway tickets can be used on the following bus routes:

  • Y1 – Bristol city centre – Yate

  • Y2 – Bristol city centre – Yate

  • Y6 – Bristol bus station – Yate

  • 19 – Bristol Parkway – Little Stoke Lane (Patchway)

  • 70 – Bristol Temple Meads – Filton Avenue (Filton Abbey Wood)

  • 73 – Bristol Temple Meads – Filton Avenue (Filton Abbey Wood) – Bristol Parkway

  • 74 – Bristol city centre – Station Road (Filton Abbey Wood)

  • M4 – Bristol Parkway and Titan Rd Bus Stop (Patchway)
