Description

Engineering work is taking place between Charlbury and Evesham, closing all lines.

Sunday:

Trains between London Paddington and Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford via Oxford will operate between London Paddington and Charlbury, then between Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link, and Great Malvern with some trains beyond to / from Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford. Trains will depart London Paddington up to 30 minutes earlier than normal.

A replacement bus service will operate between Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill.

Road journey times from Charlbury to Evesham is 95 minutes, from Charlbury to Worcester Shrub Hill is 147 minutes.

Last two buses from Charlbury will extend to Worcester Foregate Street.

First bus to Charlbury will start from Moreton-in-Marsh, calling at Kingham.

First two buses from Worcester Shrub Hill will start from Worcester Foregate Street.

Last bus from Worcester Shrub Hill will terminate Moreton-in-Marsh.

Monday to Wednesday:

Trains between London Paddington and Worcester/Great Malvern/Hereford via Oxford will operate between London Paddington and Charlbury, then between Evesham and Worcester/Great Malvern/Hereford.

A replacement bus service will operate between Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne and Evesham.

Road journey time from Charlbury to Evesham is 105 minutes. A limited number of buses will also call Shipton.

The 17:34 London Paddington to Hereford will depart earlier at 17:32 and will divert between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill. It will not call Oxford and stations to Worcestershire Parkway. It will call additionally to pick up only at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Cheltenham Spa. (17:32 London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa will depart 17:34).

The 05:23 Hereford to London Paddington will divert between Worcester Shrub Hill and Reading. It will not call Worcestershire Parkway and stations to Oxford. It will call additionally at Cheltenham Spa, Swindon and Didcot Parkway. A separate train will operate from Oxford to Reading and London Paddington.

Combe, Finstock, Ascott-Under-Wychwood and Shipton – Morning and Evening services:

The 16:58 London Paddington to Great Malvern (terminating Charlbury) will call additionally Combe and Finstock. Connects at Charlbury for road transport to Ascott-under-Wychwood, setting down only at Shipton, Kingham and Moreton-in-Marsh.

The 17:14 Didcot Parkway to Moreton-in-Marsh will terminate Oxford.

The 07:00 Worcester Shrub Hill to Didcot Parkway will start from Oxford.

The 07:13 Great Malvern(starting Charlbury) to London Paddington will call additionally Finstock and Combe.

Earlier road transport from Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham (pick up only), Shipton and Ascott-under-Wychwood to Charlbury to connect into the above train.
