Amended trains in the Chippenham / Westbury area on Sunday 6 October

Great Western Railway between Westbury and Warminster / Swindon / Weymouth / Bristol Temple Meads

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chippenham / Bradford-on-Avon and Dilton Marsh, closing some lines on Sunday.

As a result:

• The 08:10 Warminster to Swindon service will be replaced by an earlier bus.

• The 08:39 Westbury to Bristol Temple Meads service will start at 09:24 and run later throughout. At Bristol Temple Meads, it will connect with the 10:05 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central service.

• The 09:00 Westbury to Weymouth will start at 09:30, and run later than usual throughout.

• The 09:12 Swindon to Westbury service will not run. A replacement bus will run from Chippenham to Westbury via Melksham and Trowbridge. An earlier train connection is available between Swindon and Chippenham.

• The 10:58 Weymouth to Swindon service will depart at 11:37, and will run later than usual, terminating at Chippenham. Rail connections from Chippenham to Swindon are available.

• The 13:42 Swindon to Weymouth service will start at Chippenham. An earlier train connection is available between Swindon and Chippenham.
