All Grand Central services to / from Sunderland

Northern between between Carlisle / Metro Centre / Newcastle / Bishop Auckland / Darlington and Saltburn, and between Carlisle / Bishop Auckland and Middlesbrough, and also between Darlington and Nunthorpe / Whitby

All TransPennine Express services to / from Middlesbrough / Redcar / Saltburn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Eaglescliffe and Thornaby / Stockton, closing some lines.

Grand Central:

Grand Central train services will be amended to run via Durham, and will not call at Hartlepool or Eaglescliffe. These trains will additionally call at Darlington.

Replacement buses will run between Hartlepool / Eaglescliffe and Darlington, connecting with train services.

Northern:

Services between Bishop Auckland and Saltburn, in both directions, will run between Bishop Auckland and Darlington, and between Thornaby and Saltburn only.

Rail replacement buses will be provided between Darlington and Thornaby.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express train services will be diverted to start / terminate at Darlington instead of Middlesbrough / Redcar Central / Saltburn.

Replacement buses will be in operation between Northallerton and Middlesbrough where customers will need to change for onward connections towards Redcar Central and Saltburn.
