Description

Engineering work is taking place between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride / Kilmarnock, closing all lines.

Glasgow Central – East Kilbride:

Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride.

Due to road restrictions, a minibus service will run between Busby and Thorntonhall to connect into the Glasgow Central - East Kilbride bus service.

No buses will serve Thornliebank due to the demolition of the Thornliebank road bridge. If you are travelling to / from Thornliebank, you should make use of services to / from Muirend, Langside and Pollockshaws East, or buses from Kennishead to complete your journey.

Glasgow Central – Kilmarnock / Dumfries / Carlisle:

Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock.

Train services will run between Kilmarnock and Dumfries / Carlisle.

Glasgow Central - Barrhead:

Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Barrhead.
