Description

Engineering work is taking place between Marsden and Mirfield and between Lockwood and Huddersfield , closing some lines.

Northern:

All weekend, trains between Sheffield and Huddersfield will start / terminate at Lockwood. A replacement bus service will operate between Lockwood and Huddersfield.

On Saturday, trains between Bradford Interchange and Huddersfield will not run, you should use TransPennine Express replacement bus services between Brighouse / Halifax and Huddersfield.

On Sunday, trains between Leeds and Huddersfield will terminate at Halifax, you should use TransPennine Express replacement bus services between Brighouse / Halifax and Huddersfield.

TransPennine Express:

A reduced and amended train service will run on the following routes:

  • Liverpool Lime Street - Newcastle (not calling at Huddersfield or Stalybridge).

  • Saltburn - Manchester Victoria.

  • Leeds - Hull.

  • York - Scarborough.

  • Manchester - Marsden (hourly)

Replacement buses will run between:

Saturday:

  • Huddersfield to Mirfield (hourly)

  • Huddersfield to Brighouse (2 per hour)

  • Huddersfield to Manchester Airport (hourly)

  • Huddersfield to Manchester (fast 3 per hour)

  • Marsden-Slaithwaite – Huddersfield (hourly)

Sunday:

  • Huddersfield – Leeds stopper (hourly)

  • Huddersfield to Brighouse (2 per hour)

  • Huddersfield to Manchester Airport (hourly)

  • Huddersfield to Manchester (fast 3 per hour)

  • Marsden – Slaithwaite – Huddersfield (hourly)
