Description

Engineering work is taking place between Oxenholme Lake District and Carlisle, closing all lines.

Avanti West Coast:

Trains from London / Birmingham / Crewe will be amended to terminate at Preston / Lancaster / Oxenholme Lake District. Trains will run to an amended timetable between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Replacement buses will run between Preston and Carlisle.

For Lancaster / Oxenholme, you should use Northern or TransPennine Express services.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express will operate train services between:

• Manchester Airport and Oxenholme.

• Carlisle and Edinburgh.

Rail Replacement will be in operation between Oxenholme and Carlisle.
