Description

Engineering work is taking place between St Neots and London Kings Cross, closing various lines.

Grand Central:

Saturday:

The 17:30 Sunderland to London Kings Cross service will not run.

Sunday:

No Grand Central services will run.

Monday:

The 08:26 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will not run.

Great Northern / Thameslink:

Saturday after 22:00, and Monday before 08:30:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Potters Bar and Hitchin.

  • St Albans and Stevenage via Hatfield.

  • Hertford North and Stevenage.

  • Hitchin and Royston.

  • Hitchin and St Neots.

  • St Neots and Bedford.

You can use alternative Thameslink train services between Bedford / St Albans and London.

An amended train service will run between:

  • London Kings Cross and Potters Bar.

  • Moorgate and Hertford North / Potters Bar.

  • Royston and Kings Lynn.

  • St Neots and Peterborough.

  • Finsbury Park and Brighton.

Sunday:

Replacement buses will run between:

  • St Neots and Hitchin

  • St Neots and Bedford

  • Royston and Hitchin

  • Luton Airport Parkway and Stevenage via Hitchin

  • St Albans and Stevenage calling at Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn North, Knebworth and Stevenage

  • Hertford North and Stevenage

  • Potters Bar and Hitchin

  • Finsbury Park and Hertford North / Hitchin (until approximately 09:00)

You can use alternative Thameslink train services between Bedford / Luton Airport Parkway and London.

A revised train service will run between:

  • Royston and Cambridge / Ely / King's Lynn.

  • St. Neots and Peterborough.

  • Moorgate and Hertford North / Potters Bar (Trains start after approximately 09:00. Buses replace trains on these routes from start of service until approximately 09:00).

  • London King's Cross and Potters Bar (Trains start after approximately 09:00. Buses replace trains on this route from start of service until approximately 09:00).

  • Finsbury Park and Brighton.

Hull Trains:

Sunday:

Hull Trains services will be amended to run to / from London St Pancras International instead of to / from London Kings Cross.

Trains will not call at Beverley, Cottingham, Doncaster, Retford or Grantham, and will run to a reduced and amended timetable.

Monday:

The 06:06 Beverley to London Kings Cross and the 07:27 London Kings Cross to Hull services will not run.

LNER:

From 22:00 on Saturday until 08:00 on Monday, no LNER trains will run between St Neots and London Kings Cross.

An amended train service will run across the LNER network, and a limited number of trains will run between Peterborough and St Neots.

Replacement buses will run between St Neots and Bedford for connections to / from London St Pancras International.

Lumo:

Saturday:

The 17:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross and the 18:27 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh services will both be cancelled throughout.

Sunday:

An amended and heavily reduced train service will run between Edinburgh and Newcastle / Peterborough only, with replacement buses running direct between Peterborough and London Kings Cross.

Monday:

The 05:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle.

The 06:23 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Newcastle.
