Background Information:

Network Rail will be re-railing three quarters of a mile of track between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier. A sticky material will also be applied to the tracks, to help the wheels of the trains grip the tracks.

Work will also begin to strengthen the viaduct which runs over the river between Lymington Town and Lymington Pier. More information is available on the Network Rail website.
