Description
Engineering work is taking place in the Bolton area closing some lines.
The following services are affected:
Until 12:50
Services between Manchester Airport and Blackpool North will be diverted via an alternative route and will not call at stations via Bolton and Chorley.
Services between Manchester Airport and Windermere / Ulverston will start at Preston.
Replacement bus services will run between Bolton and Manchester Victoria, between Bolton and Manchester Oxford Road, and between Bolton and Blackburn.
All Day
Services between Blackburn and Manchester Victoria / Southport will be diverted via an alternate route and will not call at Salford Central, Salford Crescent, Swinton, Moorside, Walkden, Atherton, Hag Fold, Daisy Hill and Hindley.
Services between Manchester Airport / Manchester Oxford Road and Blackpool North will be diverted via an alternate route and will not call at Salford Crescent, Bolton, Lostock, Horwich Parkway, Blackrod, Adlington, Chorley and Buckshaw Parkway.
Services between Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria / Wigan North Western will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
Replacement bus services will run between Preston and Bolton, between Wigan and Bolton, and between Wigan and Salford Crescent via Walkden.
