Description

Engineering work is taking place between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill, closing some lines.

As a result, the following amendments will apply:

  • The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service will call additionally at Didcot Parkway. It will then divert between Didcot Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill (via Swindon and Cheltenham Spa – NOT calling at either). Rail connections available from Didcot Parkway to Oxford (train continues to Banbury). A rail replacement bus service will then run between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill, calling at Hanborough, Charlbury, Shipton, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham and Pershore.

  • The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington service will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill (and restart Oxford). A rail replacement bus service will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to Oxford, to connect into the train. A second rail replacement bus service will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to stations to Evesham and Oxford. No rail connection towards London Paddington from this bus.

  • The 22:51 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway service will terminate Oxford. A rail replacement bus service will run between Oxford and Worcestershire Parkway, calling at Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham and Pershore.
