Buses replace trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea from Saturday 29 June to Saturday 6 July

Description

Major engineering work is taking place to the Kingsferry Bridge near Swale, closing the line between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea.

Accessible buses will replace trains between:

• Sheerness-on-Sea and Sittingbourne calling at Queenborough only

• Kemsley and Sittingbourne minibus shuttle

Swale station will be closed and cannot be served by replacement buses because of the closure of Kingsferry Bridge.

Journey times will be significantly increased, and buses between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will take approximately 60 minutes.
