Description
Engineering works is taking place in the Southampton area, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
Saturday
Trains will not call at Winchester or Southampton Airport Parkway.
Journey times will be extended by approximately 45 minutes.
You should use South Western Railway buses between Eastleigh and Southampon Central to complete your journey.
Sunday
Buses replace trains between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
Great Western Railway:
Saturday
Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will divert between Romsey and Fareham, not calling at Southampton Central. Most trains will call additionally at Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh.
The 07:05 Westbury to Southampton Central and the 08:30 Southampton Central to Bristol Temple Meads will operate as normal, otherwise customers to / from Southampton Central should change at Romsey for South Western Railway connections.
Also:
The 21:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Westbury will divert between Eastleigh and Romsey, not calling at Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central. It will call additionally at Chandlers Ford.
Sunday
Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will divert between Romsey and Fareham, not calling at Southampton Central. They will call additionally at Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh.
A replacement bus service will operate (hourly) between Eastleigh and Southampton Central taking 20 minutes.

The 17:40 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will operate in two parts: the 17:40 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads service and the 18:41 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour (terminating Westbury). There will be no connection between these two trains.
The 19:34 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour will terminate Westbury. Customers for beyond Westbury should travel by earlier or later services.

On Sunday,
Buses will operate between:
Eastleigh to Bournemouth
Eastleigh to New Milton
Southampton Central to Romsey
Southampton Central to Fareham

Southern:
Buses replace trains between Havant and Southampton Central.
On Saturday, trains which usually run between Brighton / London Victoria and Southampton Central will be diverted and run to / from Fratton.
On Sunday, trains which usually run between Brighton and Southampton Central will be diverted and run to / from Portsmouth & Southsea.
