Amended TransPennine Express services on Saturday 5 October

TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street / York and Newcastle, and between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield, and between Doncaster and Cleethorpes

Description

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the TransPennine Express network, closing some lines at various times throughout the day.

As a result:

• The 07:19 York to Newcastle service will not run.

• The 21:06 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle service will terminate at York. An additional train service will run from York at 23:07 to Newcastle. There is no connection between these two train services, if you are travelling between Liverpool and Newcastle you should travel on earlier train services to complete your journey.

• The 21:22 Cleethorpes to Doncaster service will additionally call at Althorpe, Crowle and Thorne South.

• The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield service will not run. A replacement bus will run direct from Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield.
