Amended TransPennine Express service on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September

between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle and

between Manchester Airport and Glasgow Central

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Edinburgh, closing all lines.

Due to the above works and to ease congestion, the following alterations will be in place to TransPennine Express services over the weekend:

Saturday:

• 05:00 Manchester Victoria to Saltburn will start later at 05:10.

• 18:54 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will start from Manchester Victoria at 19:45.

• 16:44 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Manchester Victoria.

Sunday:

• 11:07 Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport will not run.

• 19:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will terminate at York.

• 15:10 Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central will not run.

• 21:09 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will terminate at York.

• 21:49 Saltburn to Manchester Victoria will be be diverted to Manchester Piccadilly.
