Buses replace late night / early morning trains between Witham and Colchester from Tuesday 28 to Friday 31 May

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Witham and Colchester, closing lines overnight from Tuesday evening until Friday morning.

As a result, the following trains will be replaced by buses between Witham and Colchester:

Tuesday and Wednesday:

The 23:48 London Liverpool Street to Colchester service.

Wednesday and Thursday:

The 00:18 London Liverpool Street to Colchester service.

The 00:46 London Liverpool Street to Colchester service.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:

The 04:43 Colchester to London Liverpool Street service (bus from Colchester will start earlier than the train in order to connect with the train at Witham).

Additionally, the 23:02 London Liverpool Street to Ipswich service will terminate at Colchester on Tuesday and Wednesday. Change at Colchester for rail connections towards Manningtree and Ipswich.
