Trains between Cardiff Central and Holyhead

Description

Vandalism of the railway equipment between Cwmbran and Abergavenny means fewer trains are able to run. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised. This is expected until 15:00.

Additional information:

Vandalism of the signal cables has resulted in multiple track circuit failures and is causing disruption to services running between Holyhead / Manchester and Cardiff Central. Network Rail technicians are currently on site attempting to fix the issues.

  • Northern services between Crewe / Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly until 12:00

Replacement road transport has been provided with Lakeside at Shrewsbury and will remain on standby to assist you with your journey.
