Description
A person has been hit by a train between London Victoria and Beckenham Junction. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until approximately 14:00.
What's happened?
A person has sadly been hit by a train between London Victoria and Beckenham Junction. The emergency services and response staff remain are on site. Power has been restored to the railway, and final inspections are being made to the train involved in the incident. Once these are complete, the train can return to the depot, and we expect all lines to reopen.
How does this affect my journey?
Stopping services between London Victoria and Orpington via Herne Hill have been unable to run.
The first trains to call at stations between London Victoria and Shortlands are expected to be:
12:27 from London Victoria to Orpington
13:20 from Orpington to London Victoria
Trains on the following routes via Bromley South are using an alternative route via Denmark hill to reach London Victoria, and may be delayed on route.
London Victoria to Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham
London Victoria to Ashford via Maidstone East
