Description

A fault with the signalling system in the Carlisle area means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 21:00.

ScotRail customer advice

You can use Avanti West Coast services between Carlisle and Glasgow Central in both directions (please note these services may also be affected by this disruption).

ScotRail have a replacement coach which is due on site at Carlisle at approximately 20:00. This coach will then operate a shuttle service to Dumfries.

The coach will then operate a 21:00 service from Dumfries to Carlisle and the final service of the evening at 23:10 from Carlisle to Dumfries.
