Description

A fault with the signalling system between Kings Lynn and Ely is causing disruption to journeys running between these stations.

As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected to continue until 13:00.

Customer advice:

Great Northern trains are being delayed in the Kings Lynn area.

Services will be delayed by at least 15 minutes. Some services are being terminated and restarted at Cambridge. Please check journey planners before travelling in case your service has been impacted.

Kings Lynn to Ely won't have an alternative public transport option. Great Northern will do theirr best to provide alternative road transport, but there may be a long wait. Please speak to station staff, where available. If there are no staff, you can use the green emergency button on the station help point instead, or speak to us on social media.

For those travelling between Ely and Cambridge, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on CrossCountry services. Please be aware that using an alternative route will increase your journey time.

This is impacting Great Northern services between London Kings Cross and Kings Lynn in both directions.

A signalling fault has occurred in the Kings Lynn area. Whilst Network Rail investigate the cause of this fault, your journey will be delayed. Great Northern are working with Network Rail to get more information for you.
