Description

Lines have now reopened following earlier overrunning engineering works between Warrington Bank Quay and Newton-le-Willows / Wigan North Western.

As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.
