Train operators affected
Between London Victoria and Gillingham / Dover Priory / Ramsgate
Trains are able to run again between Rochester and Swanley following a train hitting an obstruction on the line at Farningham Road. Whilst services return to normal, trains may cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 13:00.
What's happened?
The train which hit a tree earlier today has been fixed by the engineers. The electrical current of the tracks has been restored and trains will be able to run through Sole Street line again.
How does this affect my journey?
The Sole Street line has now re-opened, but trains may be delayed, altered or cancelled while we work to resume a normal service.
