Between Plymouth and Gunnislake
Description
Urgent repairs to a bridge between Plymouth and Gunnislake means that all lines are closed. Trains running between these stations have been cancelled and taxis will run today to help your journey.
Plans for the repairs are being finalised, however, disruption is expected until at least Saturday 21 September.

Today, Friday 13 September
Taxis will run between Plymouth and Gunnislake as follows:
Two 8 seat taxis will depart Gunnislake at the timetabled train departure. They will call at Calstock, and then straight to Plymouth
Two 8 seat taxis will depart Bere Alston at the timetabled train departure. They will call at Bere Ferrers, and then straight to Plymouth
Transport is also operating in the other direction from Plymouth. Please speak to staff for more information.
Customers boarding at unstaffed stations should use the Help Point to speak with someone for further information.
Devonport, Dockyard, and Keyham stations will continue to be served by trains running between Plymouth and Penzance.
Saturday 14 September
Trains will run between Plymouth and Calstock only as trains are suspended between Calstock and Gunnislake.
It is not yet confirmed if road transport will run, please check back for details.
Sunday 15 - Sunday 21 September
It is expected that no trains will run between Plymouth and Gunnislake on Sunday 15 September, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
Control teams are working to finalise train plans. You will be updated as soon as we have further information.
Additional information:
During a routine inspection of Darkey Lane Bridge, engineers have found structural issues which makes the bridge unsafe to pass. Due to the complex nature of the structure, it is expected that the bridge is closed until further notice.
