Description

Heathrow tunnel is closed for safety reasons which means trains are unable to run to and from Heathrow Airport. Trains will be cancelled or revised as a result.

Major disruption is expected until approximately 12:00

Elizabeth line customer advice:

Services are suspended between Heathrow Airport and Hayes & Harlington.

Services between Heathrow Terminal 5 and Shenfield will run between West Drayton and Shenfield only.

You can use your ticket on the following routes:

  • London Underground on the Piccadilly Line

  • South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Reading

  • Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Reading

  • London Buses route SL9 or X140 between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow Central Bus Station

Customers at Acton Mainline, Hanwell and West Ealing can circulate using local buses to Ealing Broadway, Southall or Hayes & Harlington with more regular services into London and the inner west.

Heathrow Express customer advice:

Customers may use the following operators at no extra cost:

  • London Underground Piccadilly Line services to / from Heathrow Airport

  • London Buse routes:

    • SL9 and X140 between Heathrow Central bus station and Hayes & Harlington

    • 105 between Heathrow and Southall

  • Elizabeth line between Hayes & Harlington and London Paddington

Additional information:

There is a problem with the ventilation system in Heathrow tunnels which means trains cannot run on this line until Network Rail have resolved the issue.
