Description

Heavy rain flooding the railway at Hooton means that the line is currently closed between Hooton and Chester.

As a result, trains running between these stations are unable to operate, and have been cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement buses are in operation between these Hooton and Chester in both directions.

You may use your ticket on Transport for Wales services between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester at no extra cost.
