Description
Earlier today, British Transport Police requested Hull station was closed to ensure the safety of customers travelling to and from Hull due to the protests taking place in Hull city centre and the surrounding areas.
The station has now reopened. However, due to the severity of the incident, only an extremely limited service will operate. Hull Trains are not operating at this station.
You are still advised not to travel to, from, or through Hull as you may not reach your destination. Trains may still be cancelled or revised as a normal timetable cannot be reinstated this evening. Replacement road transport will not run or be requested.
Advice for Northern customers:
To assist with your journey, you may use your ticket on the following:
TransPennine Express services via any reasonable route. (Please note, these services are also affected)
LNER services between York and Doncaster
Any ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
Replacement transport will not be sourced. Passengers are advised to make their own way where possible.
