Description

Due to a signalling problem between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin, all lines are closed.

What's Going On

Train services running to and from these stations will be suspended. Disruption is expected until 12:00.

What We're Doing About It

We have been informed of a signalling problem between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin. This means that trains are currently unable to run. All services on the Island Line will be suspended until further notice.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • Southern Vectis bus routes 2 and 3 between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin, and bus route 9 between Ryde Esplanade and Wootton Bridge (for the steam railway).
