TransPennine Express between Cleethorpes and Liverpool Lime Street

Description

Theft of signalling cables in the Mexborough area means that some lines are blocked. Trains running between Doncaster and Sheffield may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Customer advice

Network Rail have carried out a temporary repair which will allow some trains to run.

Northern

Rail replacement transport is in operate between Doncaster and Meadowhall.

Journey times will be extended by 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.

TransPennine Express

You may use your ticket on LNER services between Doncaster and Leeds to connect with TransPennine Express services between Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

Replacement road transport has been requested to operate between Doncaster and Sheffield.

Trains will run between Liverpool Lime Street and Sheffield, and between Cleethorpes and Doncaster.
