How will this affect my journey?

On Friday 5 July, some Southern and Thameslink services will operate differently than usual. You may need to change trains, which could add at least 20 minutes to your travel time.

Here are the specific changes:

  • Bedford to Three Bridges: Southbound services will not stop at London Bridge, Earlswood, or Salfords in the southbound direction only

  • Bedford / West Hampstead to East Grinstead: These services will be cancelled in both directions

  • London Bridge to Uckfield: Services will only run between East Croydon and Uckfield

  • If you need to reach Earlswood or Salfords from London, you will need to change trains at Gatwick Airport, and travel back using a London bound service

Travel information for Saturday and Sunday will be available tomorrow.
