Northern services across the north west region

Description

Short notice cancellations are expected in the north west on Sunday 29 September. Please check before you travel.

Services on some routes in and around the north west may be subject to disruption.

Do not travel on the following routes:

  • Manchester Victoria – Chester (via Warrington Bank Quay)

  • Wigan North Western – Stalybridge

  • Manchester Piccadilly – Chester (via Altrincham)

  • Manchester Piccadilly – Macclesfield - Stoke-on-Trent

  • Liverpool Lime Street - Wigan – Blackpool North

You are encouraged to plan ahead and check your journey before travelling, particularly last trains of the day, as they may be earlier than usual or cancelled at short notice.
