Description

Lines have reopened following a points failure at Redbridge. Trains through this station may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

Advice for South Western Railway customers:

We were earlier informed of a problem with a set of points at Redbridge. The problem has been resolved and all lines have reopened.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • CrossCountry between Bournemouth and Basingstoke in both directions

  • Bluestar buses:

    • 8, 9, 11 and 12 between Southampton - Millbrook - Redbridge - Totton

    • 6 between Southampton - Totton - Ashurst - Brockenhurst - Lymington

  • Morebus:

    • X1 and X2 between Lymington - New Milton - Christchurch - Bournemouth

    • 120 between New Milton - Sway - Lymington

    • 119 between New Milton and Lymington

    • 1A, 1B and 1C between Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch

    • 33 between Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch

    • M1 and M2 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole

    • 16 and 17 between Bournemouth - Parkstone - Poole

    • 20 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole

    • 8 and 9 between Poole and Hamworthy

    • 40 between Poole and Wareham
