Greater Anglia between London Liverpool Street and Witham / Braintree / Colchester / Colchester Town / Clacton-on-Sea / Ipswich / Norwich, and aslo between Shenfield and Braintree

Description

Lines have now reopened following an earlier broken down freight train between Shenfield and Ingatestone. While service recovers, train services running to / from / through Shenfield may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 21:00

Greater Anglia customer advice

Due to an earlier fault on a freight train between Shenfield and Ingatestone, services running on the following routes are subject to disruption:

  • Liverpool Street - Southend Victoria

  • Liverpool Street - Braintree

  • Liverpool Street - Clacton-on-Sea

  • Liverpool Street - Ipswich

  • Liverpool Street - Norwich

The fault on the freight train has now been repaired and the train is moving forward. Disruption is expected as Greater Anglia recover to their advertised timetable.

You can use your ticket at no additional cost on c2c services between London Fenchurch Street and Southend Central.
