Northern services between Bishop Auckland / Darlington and Saltburn

Description

An unsafe footbridge at South Bank means that trains are currently unable to call at platform 2 at this station.

This means trains running from Middlesbrough towards Saltburn in this direction only will run non-stop between Middlesbrough and Redcar Central. South Bank will not be served.

Disruption is expected until at least Thursday 31 October.

Road transport details:

To assist customers to complete their journey, a shuttle bus has been provided between Middlesbrough and South Bank, in this direction only. This will be operated by ETravel.

Customers at South Bank should use this shuttle bus or the train service to Middlesbrough, and then use the train service for stations to Saltburn.

Journey times will be extended by 10 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.

Check before you travel:
