Description

Lines have reopened following a broken down freight train between Par and St Austell. Trains running between Plymouth and Penzance may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Great Western Railway have tried to source replacement road transport, however there is a lack of availability in the area, and they are only able to provide a limited service, in both directions, between Par, St Austell and Truro.

You may use your ticket on the following First Kernow bus routes:

  • U1/U1A between Truro station and Falmouth Docks

  • U2 between Falmouth and Redruth

  • T1 between Penzance and Truro

  • T2 between St Ives and Truro

You may also use your ticket on CrossCountry services between Bristol Parkway and Penzance.
