Description

A fault with the signalling system between Vauxhall and London Waterloo means that some lines towards London Waterloo are blocked.

What's Going On

Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Queenstown Road will not be served.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

What We're Doing About It

South Western Railway have been informed of a signalling problem between Vauxhall and London Waterloo. This means that some lines towards London Waterloo are blocked. Fewer available lines for London bound train services will cause additional congestion between these stations, which will cause delays, alterations and cancellations.

Until further notice, the following service alterations will be necessary:

  • Rounder services via Hounslow will be cancelled

  • Services between London Waterloo and Salisbury / Exeter St Davids may start / finish their journey at Basingstoke

  • Queenstown Road (Battersea) will not be served

To assist you with your journey, your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids

  • Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke and Reading

  • Elizabeth Line services between London Paddington and Reading

  • Southern Railway services between London Victoria and Clapham Junction

  • London Underground services via any reasonable route

Bus:

Falcon Bus routes:

  • 436 between Woking - West Byfleet - Byfleet & New Haw - Weybridge

  • 437 between Woking - West Byfleet - Byfleet & New Haw

  • 461 between Chertsey - Addlestone - Weybridge - Walton-on-Thames

  • 514/515 between Surbiton - Esher - Hersham - Walton-on-Thames - Weybridge

  • 564 between Hersham and Walton-on-Thames

  • 751 between Guildford - Esher - Surbiton
