Between Liverpool Lime Street / Warrington Central and Manchester Oxford Road, and also between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport / Manchester Victoria

Description

A shortage of available train crew between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford means some Northern services between these stations will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket on East Midlands Railway and TransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester stations at no extra cost. Please note these services do not call at all stations served by Northern services.

The following rail replacement transport will run:

  • A coach, operated by S Line, will depart Manchester Oxford Road at 14:46 and 16:46 calling at all stations to Liverpool Lime Street via Warrington Central

  • A coach, operated by S Line, will depart Liverpool Lime Street at 14:45 and 16:22 calling at all stations to Manchester Oxford Road via Warrington Central

Journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes when using road replacement transport.
