Description

Lines have reopened between Princes Risborough and Oxford / Banbury as the emergency services are now safely clear of the line. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes revised.

Trains will continue to not call at Haddenham & Thame Parkway.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice

No services will call at Haddenham and Thame Parkway station for the remainder of the day.

All services towards London Marylebone will call at Bicester North and all services from London Marylebone towards Birmingham/Oxford will call at Princes Risborough. This is to allow a connection for passengers to connect with a rail replacement service that is in place between Bicester North, Bicester Village, Haddenham and Thame Parkway and Princes Risborough, in both directions.

You are advised to use the rail replacement bus service should you wish to travel to Haddenham and Thame Parkway.

You may use your ticket on the following services:

  • Arriva Buses on the following routes:

    • X7 between Aylesbury, Haddenham & Thame Parkway and Oxford

    • X90 / X9 between High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury (X9 service is limited stop)

  • Carousel Buses 1 between High Wycombe and Amersham

  • Stagecoach Buses on the following routes:

    • 2 / 2A between Oxford Parkway and Oxford City Centre (Magdalen Street Stop C1)

    • S4 between Oxford Parkway and Oxford City Centre (Magdalen Street Stop C4) / Banbury Bus Station

    • S5 between Bicester Town Centre (Stand 3) and Bicester North (bus stop situated on Buckingham Road) / Bicester Village (bus stop situated on Oxford Road), Oxford Parkway and between Oxford City Centre (Magdalen Street Stop C4)
