Description

Lines have now reopened following electrical supply problems between Wimbledon and Clapham Junction. While service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 21:00.

Additional Information:

Network Rail staff have now fixed the fault.

Customer Advice:

Following electrical supply problems at Wimbledon, all lines have now reopened. Whilst South Western Railway work to recover normal running, services will be subject to cancellations, delays and alterations.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

Rail:

  • Southern Railway between London Victoria and Dorking.

  • London Underground District line in both directions between Wimbledon and Central London via any reasonable route.

Buses:

  • London Buses in the Chessington, Surbiton, Epsom, Hampton, Kingston and Wimbledon areas.
