Between Windermere and Manchester Airport / Oxenholme Lake District

Description

Due to a member of train crew being unavailable between Oxenholme Lake District and Windermere fewer trains are able to run on all lines. As a result, trains will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer Advice:

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted on TransPennine Express services between Preston and Oxenholme Lake District.

Rail replacement:

Rail replacement transport will run as follows:

  • Departures from Oxenholme, calling at Kendal and Windermere only at 16:32, 17:42 and 18:30

  • Departures from Oxenholme, calling at all stations to Windemere at 16:32, 17:42 and 18:30

  • Departures from Windermere, calling at Kendal and Oxenholme only at 17:07, 18:05 and 18:56

  • Departures from Windermere, calling at all stations to Oxenholme at 17:)7, 18:05 and 18:56.

Journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes when travelling by road replacement services.
