between Manchester Airport / Preston / Oxenholme Lake District and Windermere

Description

A member of train crew is unavailable. As a result, no trains will run between Oxenholme and Windermere.

Buses will replace trains between Oxenholme and Windermere until the end of the day.

Customer Advice:

To assist you with your journey, you can use your Northern ticket at no additional cost on TransPennine Express services between Manchester Airport and Oxenholme until the end of the day. Connections can be made in Preston for intermediate stations between Preston and Manchester Oxford Road.

Road replacement transport will be provided by KT's Coaches and S Line as follows:

Departures from Oxenholme:

  • 20:18 – Calling Kendal & Windermere

  • 20:18 – Calling all stations to Windermere

  • 22:06 – Calling Kendal & Windermere

  • 22:06 – Calling all stations to Windermere

Departures from Windermere:

  • 21:00 – Calling Kendal & Oxenholme

  • 21:15 – Calling all stations to Oxenholme

  • 22:40 – Calling Kendal, Oxenholme, Lancaster & Preston

  • 23:00 – Calling all stations to Preston

Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycle’s, e-bikes and dogs (excluding service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.

Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes when using road replacement transport.
