Description

A fault with the signalling system between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids means all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, or revised.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Customer advice:

We have been informed of a signalling problem between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids. This means that trains are currently unable to run between these stations.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted on the following services at no extra cost:

  • Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids

  • Great Western Railway services between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington

  • Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke and Reading

  • Great Western Railway services between Salisbury and Westbury

  • CrossCountry services Exeter St Davids and Bristol Temple Meads

  • London Underground via any reasonable route (for travel between London Waterloo and London Paddington)

  • Stagecoach South West P between Exeter and Pinhoe

  • Stagecoach South West 1 between Exeter - Pinhoe - Broadclyst (near Cranbrook)

  • Stagecoach South West 4 between Exeter St Davids and Cranbrook

  • Stagecoach South West 9 between Honiton and Exeter

  • Stagecoach South West 44 and 44A between Axminster - Honiton - Cranbrook - Exeter

South Western Railway have request but not yet confirmed replacement buses to run between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids.

Due to the level of disruption to your journey, customers are now able to source their own taxis between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids and claim them back through South Western Railway website. You will need to provide the following details to make a claim:
