Details

Duo is available on Greater Anglia's routes south of Manningtree/Harwich and Cambridge to London and intermediate stations, also on many local journeys in the Norwich and Ipswich areas.

It is not available for journeys wholly within the the Oyster pay as you go area. On Greater Anglia, this area comprises London Travelcard zones 1-6 plus Shenfield and stations to Broxbourne and Hertford East.

You can still buy Duo tickets for journeys to and from stations in the Oyster area as long as one of the stations is outside this area, for example: Romford to Chelmsford or Bishops Stortford to Cheshunt.

Duo tickets are available from your local station, by calling Greater Anglia on 0845 600 7245 or online

Booking Conditions

  • Valid at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays only.

  • Available where Super Off-Peak Day Return fares are offered. The fare charged will be 1.5 times the Super Off-Peak Day Return and will permit two adults to travel.

  • Not available to London Underground destinations.

  • Railcard discounts are not available.

  • Child discounts do not apply.

  • Not available for journeys wholly within the area bounded by London Fare Zones 1-6 plus Theobalds Grove, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Brentwood and Shenfield.

  • Duo cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.

  • The two adults must travel together throughout their entire journey.

  • Duo is a day return only ticket.
