A single journey supplement to upgrade from Standard to First Class on weekends and Bank Holidays.
Details
Southern Weekend First Upgrades are available on Southern trains at weekends and Bank Holidays, which have First Class accommodation.
They are only available to buy from the On-Board Supervisor or Conductor on your train, subject to space being available.
They can't be bought in advance or at the station before you board the train.
This is to ensure they're only sold when First Class seats are available.
We kindly ask you remain in Standard Class until you have bought the upgrade ticket.
We really don’t want you to get a Penalty Fare.
Please note wheelchair spaces are available within Standard Class accommodation only.
