Description
Strike action to affect TransPennine Express services has been announced by the ASLEF union.
Thursday 9 May (strike day)
No TransPennine Express services will be running.
Disruption is also likely on days before and after strike action. You are advised to plan carefully for any rail journeys as services may start later and finish earlier than usual.
Today, Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 May (action short of a strike)
There will be some alterations to evening services on 8 May and to early morning services on 10 May.
Otherwise, TransPennine Express plan to run the normal timetable from 6 to 8 May, and from 10 to 11 May.
However, the action short of a strike could cause significant disruption to journeys.
Services during action short of a strike may be altered or cancelled on the night before or morning of your journey. Please check before you travel.
