Description

The ASLEF Union have announced 'action short of a strike' which will affect services between Monday 29 April and Saturday 4 May inclusive.

Northern expect some late notice cancellations to services, particularly the first and last services of the day.

The majority of services will be running as planned on these days, but please check before travelling, as close to the time as possible as short notice cancellations are likely.

In addition, strike action has also been announced on Thursday 9 May with an overtime ban from Monday 6 May to Saturday 11 May.

Thursday 9 May (Strike day):

No Northern services will operate on any route.

Monday 6 - Saturday 11 May (excluding 9 May):

The days before and after the strike day are expected to be busier than usual. You are advised to check before travelling, as close to the time as possible as short notice cancellations are likely.
